Brandon Bourbon touched so many lives, I don't even think he realized it. He played football at the University of Kansas as well as Washburn. These funds will help his parents with the funeral arrangements and any other financial troubles they have during this time of hardship. Anything you can donate will help. Much love to you Beastmode

I'll always remember #25 catching a screen pass and rumbling down the field. I always enjoyed watching him play and followed his career when he went to Washburn. I will contine to pray for the Bourbons as well as you Ben Heeney as I can't imagine losing my best friend. I also followed Brandon on twitter and I could see he was a man of faith. I believe the Lord is comforting him now and we will see him again in heaven. God Bless...Jake Petersen

Thank you, Ben, for organizing this. What a good friend you are! A beautiful funeral goes a long way in the healing process. I know, it always helps my family deal with the unfathomable. May Brandon rest-in-peace and his memory be a comfort in this time of darkness.

I never met Brandon, but I've followed his exploits over the past 7 years. I was in awe of his accomplishments and bragged about the fellow PHS alum to friends and co-workers. I was sad when he finished playing at WU, but nothing like when I heard of his passing.

Brandon was one of the main reasons I chose KU. As my host on my visit, I realized that I wanted to surround myself with people like Brandon, high character guys. Brandon was an incredible football player and teammate, and an even better friend. Brandon, you are incredibly missed.
