St. Baldrick's/Evanfest

Hi my name is Millsy and I am the athletic trainer at Malvern Prep School. I developed this Gofundme page ( I wish it would say GofundUS) in an effort to fundraise for pediatric cancer. Myself with several Malvern Prep Students and staff will be shaving our heads on April 23rd to support two worthy causes. One is the St. Balderick's Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/890/2016 and this event is sponsored by the Sig Ep Fraternity at Drexel University and by the way I am a Sig Ep from Penn State. The other Foundation is Evanfest, http://evanfest.com/event/ and this event is very dear to me and the Malvern Prep Community. Evan was a student/athlete who came to me about an injury he sustained in the Spring before coming to Malvern Prep. When he first arrived to Malvern at the end of the Summer he came to me and after evaluating him I recommended that we get an MRI because what he was diagnosed with in the Spring was not the same thing he was having an issue with at that time.  We would have never guessed it would be bone cancer. I had the gracious opportunity to spend a lot of time with Ev and his family during his surgery, treatment and rehab but God had other plans for Ev four years later and took Ev to see him. On the front of this Gofundme page is Ev and I hanging in the athletic training room. So the second part of this fundraiser will go to the Evanfest Foundation who supports families financially and with love for their kids who have cancer. If you can find it in your heart to help us fundraise or put us in touch with people who have the means to donate, you will make a difference greater then you will ever know!!
