On Sunday, June 16th Zamir (28 years old) was hiking with his friends and taking scenery pictures on a train bridge when a train started to approach. They didn’t hear anything until it got close and that’s when they ran to the edge of the bridge to lay down. It is believed that’s when Zamir might of got struck by the train and fell over 25 ft (update: approximately 15-20ft ) into 2-3 feet of swamp water. His skull shattered and fractured his vertebrae, back, pelvis, and ribs. Zamir laid there unconscious until his friend came down to rescue him from under water. His skull was cracked wide open to the point where his brain was exposed. He was transported to UC Davis Hospital by helicopter air support. He has undergone trauma surgery and is currently in ICU. We humbly request our family and friends to make dua for Zamir to have a smooth and healthy recovery. In Shaa Allah. Zamir may also need financial assistance, so we do appreciate any help. He is attending Sacramento State University and didn’t receive his grant to cover the rest of his Tuition so his plans to pay off is going to be even more difficult. In addition, in the future he will be needing a healthy diet, medical devices and physical & mental therapy. Initial medical expenses are covered, this is for OTHER costs. Thank you for everyone who kept him in your thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE: He is out of ICU Alhumdulillah
He is currently in nurse trauma unit under 24/7 family supervision and with the help of nurses.
