Zalina the warrior's medical fund

Zalina Juliana Gutierrez (AKA Warrior Princess) was born 8/6/2018 four weeks early by emergency c-section to my sister Janna Schnell and Juliano Gutierrez. As soon as she arrived, her mother and father heard her cries and immediately fell in love. She came out full of life with her eyes wide open!

When taken to the nursery they noticed her abdomen was distended and bruised, and the nurses immediately jumped into action. Zalina was transported to Comers Children's Hospital where the doctors found she was  born with her small intestine twisted which caused part of it to die. Zalina was also anemic and losing blood internally. The doctors took little Zalina into surgery and she is now out and breathing on her own. She's showing her personality and strength by smiling and swatting at the nurses hands as they try and adjust her tubes.

Zalina the Warrior Princess is a fighter and we are so blessed she made her appearance early! Janna, Juliano, and Zalina have a long road of recovery ahead of them. They will be staying at Comers Children's Hospital for a minimum of 6 weeks as baby Zalina heals. 

We have no idea what the cost of their stay will be as they do not currently have insurance, and mom and dad don't need to worry about anything but their precious baby Zalina. I'm asking family and friends to help out however they can. Keep this brand new family in your prayers and pray that Zalina shocks us all at how quickly she heals!
