Zachary's Medical Fund

Little Zachary was born April 6th and had a very rough start to life. During his first two weeks of life he had countless blood draws, was on c-pap and oxygen, had an IV pumping high doses of dextrose and lipids into him and had 4 platelet transfusions.


Six weeks later he is off the oxygen and dextrose and hasn't had a platelet transfusion in 4 weeks. However he is still in the NICU due to eating issues.

Because of his eating issues he is now requiring a gastrointenstinal tube (or g-tube) to be fed. He can take bottles by mouth but often refuses due to reflux and swallowing complications.

The g-tube is a quick surgery but it doesn't fix all his issues - it just allows us to go home to work on his eating. He will need hours of speech therapy and many visits to the pediatrician as well as medical supplies for feeding such as a pump, formula and tubes.

All donated money will go to paying off his extensive NICU stay and help pay for his medical supplies to continue eating.
