these proceeds will help pay for all services held for Lori and Max, Sams college education, and what ever else is needed during this time.
Close freinds and family of the Pappas family have created this account in memory of the tragic loss of Max and Lori. We hope to meet, or exceed, our goal of 5,000 dollars to benifit Steve and Sam during this difficult time.  Max and Lori were both very loved memebers of our comunity.

Lori was an amazing mother to the two loves of her life, Max and Sam. To escape the day Lori would practice yoga and meditation. Lori and Steve were two of the most hospitibale, understanding, and extrodinarily caring parents. She dedicated everything that she was to all of those that walked into her home. Lori's spirit was welcoming and comforting, and readily availible to anyone who needed a helping hand. We will remember Lori for the kind soul that she embodied, and her abilty to radiate love everywhere she went.

Max had followed in his mother's footsteps, and took on life with an optomistic outlook towards every situation he faced. For those of you who don't know, Max and his family spent the last couple of years fighting  a tireless battle of his mental illness. Growing up, Max was a very bright and beautifiul soul to all those around him. We will remeber him for his contagious laugh, outrageous sense of humor, and love he had for the people in his life. To ease his mind, Max turned to his love of music and art. He would often take drives up Figuroa Mountain while listening to his endless playlist of old classics, such as: Niel Young, Crosby Stills & Nash, Journey, Fleet Foxes, Emerica, and Pink Floyd. Max enjoyed the beautiful views of Figueroa Mountain and taking in all that this Santa Ynez Valley has to offer. 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Pappas family, while Max and Lori will forever be in our hearts.  Any amount you are able to donate is a great help.  Thank you for your support!
