Fighting Cancer now Home Destroyed
Donation protected
We lost our home today due to the tornado in Denair, CA. After surviving Pulmonary Emboli in the spring and then internal bleeding this June, July then brought a diagnosis of triple negative carcinoma stage 3 breast cancer. I've not been able to work due to intensive chemotherapy and things have been tough. My eldest daughter was in her room when the tree hit her ceiling. Terrified for my safety and her younger siblings; she could only scream for us to get out of the house. Only to find out that the tree had shifted the house; she was then trapped and fearful of our safety not her own. She is a Junior at California State University Stanislaus and works to contribute to our family. Her 16 year old brother forced her door open to let her out. The winds ripped through the house with things flying and windows blowing out, we have not been allowed back in and were told the house is uninhabitable, we really have no idea where to begin. The next 7 weeks I will be receiving chemotherapy and then begin surgeries to ensure that I will be here for my 10 yr old daughter.
