 TONAWANDA, NY
Kim (maiden name Eisenhauer) and Phil Vaillancourt were always meant to do great things, their two biological children stole their hearts, and nothing was different nearly three years ago when they started the adoption process of three sisters. Despite the hectic life of raising five kids, everyone around them watched as their eyes filled with excitement when they found out they were expecting a baby boy in May 2016. On December 25, 2015, just two days after they officially adopted the three girls, Kim woke up with a terrible migraine. Kim's pain tolerance is so high she didn't think anything of it, but non of her favorite Christmas treats were appetizing, really nothing was other than sleep. Two days later, when it only got worse, Kim asked Phil to take her to the hospital. Kim is tough, so when she asks to go to the hospital something is wrong. Hours later, they were given heart breaking news, Kim had two brain tumors, one on the frontal left lobe, and one on the stem of the brain. If she was not pregnant they would have operated immediately, because of the location on the brain stem. But because of baby Vaillancourt the doctor wanted to put her on steroids for 24 hours before removing both tumors.

The surgery was successful and both tumors were removed and sent to pathology. Although we do not have official results from the biopsies (expected next week), the Vaillancourt family (single family income) will have a long road ahead. With regular doctors visits, prescription medication, and every day household expenses for the family.

Please consider any donation to assist the family in their time of need. Thank you and God Bless!

Prayers for you and your family! My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 gliablastoma also...4 years ago last December and still no sign of regrowth! After his surgery for removal of the tumor (they were only able to remove 75%) he went through radiation and placed on Temadar, which didn't work and the tumor was growing again within 4 months, he was told to go home and enjoy what was left of his life...they said 9-12 months. We refused to accept that and God led us to a dr that specializes in gbm at uams in Little Rock, Arkansas! Long story short she sent him to NIH in Maryland for clinical trials. My husband said if it didn't help him, maybe it would the next person! They put him on Avastin and within 2 months the tumor was gone and hasn't returned!!! He still has to go for his avastin every 3 weeks and the drs said he will have to for the rest of his life but he's here and going strong and doing pretty much anything he wants! From articles I have found on the internet, some have went 10+ years without any regrowth! Please don't give up and find a dr that won't give up!!! But most of all... Stay strong in your faith in God!!! He isnt finished with you and your sweet family...this is just a bump in the road! Again, we will be praying for you and your family!!!

My husband was diagnosed with a GBM on December 3rd and is currently going through chemo and radiation. We have 4 small children and I know exactly what you guys are going through. Please do not give up hope. There are long term survivors- we have spoken to a 12 year and 15 year survivor and it gave us so much inspiration. I'd love to share their names with you if you'd like to speak to them yourself- you can private message me at Aimee Staudt. You can also read our story at gofundme/jeffstaudt I have done a ton of research on additional things such as diet, suplimentation and essential oils. We believe in both traditional medicine and also looking outside the "standard treatments". There is hope- do not lose your faith. My husband, family, friends and I have adapoted the motto "Win The Day". Every day is a win- there are never any guarantees. God has a plan- please know that you can rely on others such as us to keep your spirits high. Please reach out to me if you'd like to talk more. We are living through the same fears you are. We will add you to our prayers. Keep fighting and win the day! With Love, Aimee and Jeff Staudt. #wintheday

I am so unbelievably sorry for all your family is going through. Although I cannot help monetarily, I would gladly offer some meal preparations, help with the children or any kind of help. My husband also works for TOT and we are a family of 6 as well so we know how that alone is stressful. God Bless your family. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

After reading so much garbage and stumbling on your story, I thank GOD that there are people who still do what's morally right in GODS eyes! Gives HOPE as our world is sliding quickly into a moral vacuum! FATHER GOD I ask that YOU surround and hover over this family. That the ripple effect will be FAR AND WIDE as YOU accomplish Miraculous things thru theses lives YOU have created! BLESS IN EVERY WAY, financial, Spiritual, emotional and physical. Give them YOUR WISDOM...and, HOLY SPIRIT, please heal her on this earth, completely!! We desperately need these courageous people longer....in JESUS, GLORIOUS STRONG NAME! AMEN, SO BE IT!

My husband same thing. Stage 4 brain n spine cancer. Said so aggressive prob wouldn't make it. Had radiation n Cyberknife at Utsw Dallas. Amazing Drs n staff. Did all they could and nothing left to offer him. Kangen water was shared with us. Each 8 ounce glass equal to 20,000 blueberries. He has gotten rid of spine cancer n now 3 out of 6 tumors in brain are gone. I'm not a believer in most cures/ ideas. This was worth the try. My husband is 42, healthy otherwise, fit, father of 4 girls (14,13,7,3) we have been married 21 years. Please look into this. Huge in Japan.

I thought this article and video may be helpful. My husband Is a 21 year colon cancer survivor. He survived metastasis to his liver and lung. He had colon, liver and lung resections. The surgeon was unable to remove all of the tumors in his liver. He used multiple alternative therapies including many supplements. We did not share this information with his oncologist. We believe the combination conventional and alternative therapies saved his life. Please watch this video and obtain the book. God bless you, Kim, and your family. Praying for your healing! http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2016/04/09/atrocious-state-cancer-treatment.aspx?utm_source=dnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art1&utm_campaign=20160409Z1&et_cid=DM102212&et_rid=1437210537
