Family and friends of the incredible Derrick Wilbourn,
We are going to raise $10,000 so that Derrick can move past his battle with cancer without total financial devastation. Derrick was diagnosed with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma on May 30, 2014 , He has been a constant source of encouragement and motivation to us all and he will continue to be so, for many years to come!! We now have the opportunity to stand behind the man who has stood behind so many of us.
Derrick has been unable work since November of last year. His soulmate, Revalee, has been by his side and has sacrificed her job as well in order to act as his home care nurse. Derrick now needs around the clock care while he is in treatment. He has been through three different kinds of experimental treatment that have been unsuccessful. Derrick hasn't given up hope, and he is currently on his fourth kind of treatment. We know these lengthy battles cause medical bills to add up quickly. We all get stressed out by finances, and many of us aren't sick! Derrick needs his focus to be on staying positive, healthy and hopeful.
