Save my home from foreclosure

We bought our new home in July of 2014 before I was retired from the Navy on September 30th 2014. However with my retirement and my 5 months of unemployment we fell behind in our payment. Until April of this year. When we went to make a payment we found out that wells fargo had started forecloser on our house the day before. And after 3 months of awaiting a loan modification we were denied. So now it's either pay the balance due or lose our home. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
