Medical Device to help my Son

My Son had a Stroke at birth and has Cerebral Palsy. He has been in therapy since before his first birthday,My son Benjamin is now 9 years old. So much of our free time has always been taken up by some therapy or another. He had in home therapy in the early days and then as he got older we ventured out to Water Therapy, Physical therapy and Occupational therapy. Not to mention Speech therapy and Kindermusic as a type of social and early intervention therapy .He has made huge gains in so many areas! With early intervention and the caring therapists we have had he now can live as close to normal a life as other kids. He will always have some kind of therapy in his life but for now he has only 2 with the occational jump start or in depth therapy like Thera suit.This is very hard on him as it takes up 3 weeks straight-3 hours everyday of very intense work outs in a tight suit that enables his muscles to move correctly. Even with this therapy just this Summer he still lost flexibility and range of motion. He has never been able to raise his right toes off the ground from a standing position. This affects him in different ways. He trips a lot, he has a limp and his balance is off set. This will lead to back issues and muscle loss and joint issues as he continues to grow. We recently was told by one of our Dr.'s to try out a device (BIONESS ) used mostly by elderly patients affected by stroke  and  Veterans coming home with  prosthetic limbs. The device actually makes the muscles contract to help move another area of the limb. We set up the appointment and went. I was skeptical to say the least. After all, we have been (HE HAS BEEN) working so hard everyday in therapy and in our home to get his toes to move so he can have a normal gait pattern more balance and to ensure he does not take a tumble! When we got there and was sent into the room for a fitting of the Bioness device I never expected to see my son walk straight and up right... But he did! Immediately! I held back my tears because Benjamin gets upset if he sees him Mom cry, but my goodness!! After all the things he has been through to try and accomplish walking with out hip whipping his leg around or a leg brace to help keep his anckle and foot in the right position then comes  Bioness and like  magic he is walking like everyone else! Medic aide will NOT pay for this device mainly because it comes from a company in California and we have Florida Medicaide and I personally think this is a bit cutting edge for the antiquated thinking of Medicaid . For what ever reason no one will help pay for this for my son and we cannot afford to buy it out right so that is why I'm here on GoFundMe! To ask people to help support my son and to give to this account to enhance my sons life. This device will help him excersise, walk,run,dance just like all the other "Normal" kids. Plus as my sons says... "It's like I'm part Benjamin-part TonyStark Mom"! I would love to be able to get him in this device as soon as possible.I will put a time stamp on it and say 6 months.
