On November 8th my stepfather John Schriver headed to work as many of us do everyday, what he wasn't aware of is that it would be his last day working.
Later that night around 10 p.m. John collapsed and fell unconcious, although CPR was quickly administered the heart attack that he suffered rendered him lifeless.
On the way to the hospital John was defibrillated twice, to no avail, finally after being defibrillated two more times upon arrival at the hospital John's heart began to beat again.
Currently as I type this he is still in ICU in critical condition only being kept alive by life support, his organs are shutting down and some have already failed.
All of the proceeds raised will be used towards offsetting the cost of the medical bills as John just recently started a new job.
John was a man who cared about those that were closest to him, he gave up many nights to work a new job so that he could better provide for his family.
Unfortunately we were never able to say goodbye to him in a state that he could comprehend, please help us in giving him the proper goodbye that he deserves and would have wanted.
