Yurts for StandingRock

I am Asia Laurel, and I stand in solidarity with the protectors of our water at Standing Rock.  Let's come together and protect our waters.  Let's do this for our children, and for their children's children.  

With your support, and the people at Laurel Nest Yurts, we will be sending as many shelters as possible to Standing Rock before winter.  

We need donations to purchase materials (yurt fabric, wood, hardware, transportation costs, etc) and  donations of time (there's a million things you can do, with no experience). The community helping building yurts, with their time and money, will bring shelters to the water protectors.

We already have some materials together.  We intend to sew as many yurt canvases as we can, and will bring them to North Dakota. There we will build frames.  We are also seeking out volunteers on the front lines in Standing Rock to begin building right away.

   We will drive to Standing Rock on November 3.  

All your donations will cover the costs for shelters built by Laurel Nest Yurts. We're organizing our studio, to start building right away.  As soon as we receive money, we will purchase materials.

Each time we drink clean water, may we be grateful for each other, and our collective support of the Water Protectors.
