Lost everything in a fire

My dearest friend in the world, Matthew Ebertowski would bend over backwards, give the shirt off his back and last dollar in his wallet to anyone of his friends for any reason small or great. He has been my rock in alot of life's situations. Last night he was sound asleep only to be awakened by the dog barking for help. He opened his door to see that everything around him was engulfed in flames. He rushed to save the 2 dogs first then tried to put the fire out himself. He was so surrounded with smoke he barely found his way out before it was too late. Everything he owned in life right down to his last pair of socks and wallet were burned to the ground mere days after Christmas. The building was a 100% loss. He's a bit banged up and has smoke inhalation but what is most important is that he's alive. I struggled all day so sick with worry wondering how I could possibly help him. Wanting so badly to be of any help I could. I decided to start this to raise funds to help him get back on his feet. Funds for doctor bills, to buy food, clothes and a new home can be a huge burden to someone who's been injured and lost everything in a fire and I want to make sure that the devistation, depression and anxiety of needing these things is one less thing for him to be heart broken about. So if he's touched your heart, or helped you out like he's done for me, I know that even the smallest gifts and thoughts can make the biggest smiles. And I'd love nothing more after seeing him so sad today, than to see him smile again.
