African hope and dignity

http://africanhopeanddignity.org ‌Following the end of a long lasting civil war that devastated the entire nation of Sierra Leone and destroyed every fiber that held the cutural institutions together, Dr and Mrs. Samuel Kormoi embarked on rehabilitating one of the poorest communities of rural Sierra Leone.
The Pan-African Rural Health & Social Services “PRHeSS” is the vehicle of transformation. Founded by Dr. and Mrs. Kormoi of First Wesley Academy United Methodist Church of Harvey, a south Chicago suburban community, PRHeSS has been the perfect transformative tool for the Fallay Wujah community of rural Sierra Leone.
With the commitment, dedication and sacrifice of the Christian communities and the support of the Northern Illinois United Methodist Conference, PRHeSS has transformed lives in rural Sierra Leone for 7 years now and still countimg.
Starting from community free clothing distribution, community farming support… rice, peanut, corn and poultry farming to feed the hungry, constructing water wells, outdoor toilets, providing school and medical supplies, building Hope United Methodist Church/school and vocational schools for illiterate young men and women, PRHeSS has become an important part of the Fallay Wujah community.
Today, with the help of member, supporters, donors and well wishers, the 30 admission bed PRHeSS community clinic is constructed and awaiting official opening.
Thanks to the children of God for caring for the “least of these”
