Kasey, Kirsten and Kota's Story

April 9th, 2016 will forever be a horrific day for Kirsten and Kota's young family. While traveling home from visiting family, they were struck by a drunk driver. Kirsten and 1-month old Kasey were taken to Upstate Hospital for serious injuries, where soon after Kasey passed away from his injuries. Kirsten remains in the hospital under-going surgery and treatment for injuries sustained.
Kirsten and Kota are the typical high-school sweethearts who started their family soon after graduating. Kasey was the apple of their eye and their everything. They will never be able to hold their baby again or teach him life's lessons, all because someone chose to drive under the influence.
They now have to do the unthinkable and plan their child's funeral while Kirsten has a long fight ahead of her. Kota, who works hard to provide for his family at Shingle Valley Excavation and is a volunteer fire-fighter, will be out of work for quite some time as he will not leave Kirsten's side. Please donate to this beautiful young family as they start the longest and hardest fight of their lives. All donations will go to help with travel expenses, hospital bills, monthly bills and funeral expenses.
