UPDATE: We are $514 away from our goal thanks to many generous donors and a grant from the Cogswell Benevolent Trust.
The Kingswood Youth Center is so blessed to have a 14-passenger shuttle bus as a resource for serving local teens. The KYC bus allows staff and volunteers to take members on countless enriching field trips, which support the KYC’s mission to offer a safe and positive program, which prepares youth members for the adult world. The bus has made voyages to local businesses for career exploration, museums, farms, mountains and parks, and even to Boston, to watch the Bruins battle the LA Kings.
With just 95,000 mi. on the odometer, everyone at the KYC anticipates many miles ahead, for the bus. However, $3,700 must be invested in repairs and maintenance before the van is back on the road, serving local youth. Please join the KYC in this cause. Thank you for your kind support!
