Please help this family maintain ENDURANCE through TRAGEDY announced on Channel 2 Buffalo News
In the early morning hours of February 19, 2016 a house fire in Buffalo, NY forever changed the lives of a young family. As a result, a father of 3 was lost, he rescued his daughter from the burning house and then died after going back into the burning house to rescue his sons. The mother and her 3 children were survivors, but it is without consequence; her oldest child, Treasure Brighon, 8, suffered burns over 90% of her body and was flown from a local hospital to a burn care unit in Cincinnati, OH. Her middle child Demetrius Johnson Jr, 3, is hospitalized in a pediatric intensive care unit for smoke inhalation and her youngest, Demaris Johnson, 15 months was treated and released.
Young's TLC Daycare 2 Inc., a licensed daycare located on 1439 Broadway Street, Buffalo, NY 14212; had the pleasure of caring for Demetrius Johnson and Tempest Thomas' children. We at Young's TLC Daycare 2, want to raise money to assist Tempest Thomas with the financial burden she will face in supporting her family through this difficult time of grief and despair.
Ms. Thomas will now have to travel back and forth between Buffalo and Cincinnati, OH to see after her eldest child as well as visiting Buffalo's Children Hospital for her middle child and caring for her 15 month old; while juggling the emotional toil of losing the father of her 3 children, the loss of her home and items that held sentimental value. Ms. Thomas will have the financial burden of travel costs, medical bills, purchasing the bare essentials and starting life over from just moving into this apartment a week ago.
Our hearts and prayers are with the Johnson and Thomas family. We pray for endurance, strength, peace of mind and love; for there is nothing in this world that could replace the loss of a loved one.
Young's TLC Daycare 2 Inc. greatly appreciate any amount that you can contribute, there is no such thing as "too small" or "too little" and 100% of what we raise will go directly to Ms. Tempest Thomas. Their road to recovery will be extremely difficult and there will be many painful memories as a result, so please let our support be a comfort as they strive to endure.
