Warmth

Warmth is an independently project working with the Homeless individuals of Cheltenham, Gloucester and surrounding areas. 

 

- What do we do? 

We go out onto the streets and provide 'Packages' including but not limited to, blankets, scarves and warm clothing, Hot drinks, Hot food and a friendly chat to the people who need our help! 

 

-When do we work? 

Currently we work between the months of early November and late January

 

- How did WARMTH come about? 

This project is something I've been doing totally on my own for four years this year, however due to the increase in the homeless community I have decided this year to collect volunteers and raise public awareness of the cause to assist as many people as possible 

 

-What does the future hold for WARMTH? 

Currently an independent project, we hope to work towards becoming a registered charity in order to help a larger community of people. 

 

-What can you do to help? 

As we rely soley on volunteers and donations, any donations of items or an offer of help to distribute is always appreciated. If this interests you, please do message the page! 

 

-Why is WARMTH important? 

Although providing Packages cannot change a life, giving these people a bit of hot food in there tummys and a friendly chat shoves them kindness and respect that they are often not given, giving them a sense of self-worth and a bit of hope which they otherwise may not have! This can go such a long way! Not to mention the physically aspect of the project by providing warm clothing.
