Bridger Lowery Fund

Bridger is a fourteen year old vibrant teenager. On September 25th he was admitted to Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT. He was diagnosed with mono, rhinovirus, and enterovirus. Two days later he was transferred to ICU, as his condition worsened and he developed  double pneumonia. Thursday, October 1st, doctors put a chest tube in him to help drain the fluid from his lungs. By Friday it became apparent that he was internally bleeding and was rushed into surgery.  

Doctors found a needle nick in his artery which was sealed with a single stitch.  We believed his internal bleeding was dealt with until 3a.m. Saturday morning when he was rushed to a second surgery for another bleed.  Bridger was administered 29 units of blood products in just one surgery.  Thank you to those who donate blood!

Unfortunately at this point his kidneys have stopped processing potassium and Bridgers heart is now at risk. Seattle Children's Hospital airlifted Bridger and his Mom, Katie from Missoula to Seattle. 

Bridger is now settled in at Seattle Children's and they are charged with finding the cause and cure for the infection that has ravaged Bridgers body. 

We are asking you to help his parents with the daunting expenses they are  facing. Katie and his Dad, Matt, are with him in Seattle and are not able to work as they are by his side.
