GVTV TRIP TO STN CONVENTION

Golden Valley High School TV (GVTV) is a nationally recognized video production program that has been serving the school for over 10 years.
This year, GVTV received the honor of being selected as only one of nine video programs in the entire United States to work in conjunction with the Student Television Network (STN) and PBS on a national documentary examing poverty in various communities.
GVTV students, many of whom are preparing for a career in the film/video area, are currently hard at work on their portion of the documentary which will premiere at the STN Convention in Atlanta, GA in early March.
Our goal is to raise the costs of attending the convention in Atlanta including airfaire, conference costs, ground transportation, and workshops. To date, Golden Valley is the only high school in the Hart District that has never attended the conference due to the financial hardship of many of the families we represent.
With all of the hard work our students are doing on a daily basis to make Golden Valley proud, our students deserve recognition for their achievements without funding issues standing in the way of their career goals.
Should the required amount of funding not be achieved to attend the conference, the donations will apply to updating and maintaining the equipment needs of our program.
