Johnny Fox - A Hard One 2 "Swallow"
Sword Swallower, Magician and Friend Johnny Fox has been entertaining families around the world, and at
The Maryland Renaissance Festival for decades, but even this one is hard for him to swallow.
Johnny and friends asked me to create this campaign to explain his medical condition and challenges, his hopes and concerns and where he desires to go from here. He asked me to be open and honest about his condition as he knows his time is short, and above all he wants to let you all know how much he loves you, and how much gratitude he has for everyone.
Johnny was diagnosed with Stage 2 Liver Cancer a couple of months ago and a recent fall enraged his liver and landed him in the hospital with a life or death situation. His cancer is only in the liver, but because of the large size of the tumor (10.3 cm), and 5-6 small tumors, the Drs said there is no conventional treatment available, and nothing that they can do.
Things have been touch and go for the past two weeks, where we thought he wouldnt make it through the day, but Johnny is finally home. Johnny has been set up with Home Hospice Care. Johnny was given 1 year to live max, but then was told more like 6 months max realistically. We are not sure he will even make it that long, as he grows weaker everyday.
A team has been researching alternative cancer centers and natropathic cancer clinics within the US and abroad that offer hope with statistics to back up their trials. They offer treatments that tradition hospitals do not perform, and have good success rates. These centers are very expensive, so we are coming to you for urgent help.
This is Johnny's last and only chance to beat this disease and to prolong his life. He wants to live, and wants to fight. He wants to entertain and bring smiles to faces for yeas to come.
We are hoping to bring Johnny to one of these centers ASAP, but financially we do need your help.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Johnny is not ready for his final curtain call. Let's work some "magic" here, and get Johnny the treatment he so desperately needs.
Sending love to you all!

*10% of all sales from my farm / online shop will be added to Johnny's treatment too!
Please, please, do not waste time chasing naturopathic and "alternative" medicine. Those clinics charge obscene prices, selling people hope of a cure that they cannot provide. Their "success" rates are lies. Their treatments do not work. They are charlatans. The money and time that would be invested going down that road would be far better spent on science-based clinical trials(cancer treatments keep getting better and better!), or simply enjoying life to the fullest possible.
I use to work for a company called US Medical Innovations. They created basically a laser scalpel that kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. I saw the product in action, it does work. It does require surgery but it may be worth looking into. You can look them up online, they are located in Maryland. Here is a link to the article discussing the product: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/cold-plasma-used-in-worlds-first-clinical-surgical-procedure-performed-to-selectively-kill-cancer-tumor-cells-300066833.html Here is their website: http://usmedinnovations.com/
There are also a number of promising clinical trials which are recruiting patients. Talk with your doctor and determine if any of them are right for you. You can find the clinical trials here: clinicaltrials.gov Johnny, you've created a legacy of awe and fun and entertainment. You act is one of the coolest I have ever seen, and my daughters have loved your show for over 20 years. Please look into every option you have, and know that you have a world of people who wish you the best and safest and fastest recovery possible.
Get this guy some serious CBD oil. It's not voodoo medicine. The typical medical approaches are delivering the same poison and radiation for the last 60 years. --just differences in delivery (according to my previous cancer doctor) I can tell you from experience the side effects suck. Go for mother nature!!! Here's one in our local paper: flowerchildcbd.com here in Oregon. I am using their CBD Max 25:1 for cancer prevention now.... and there's some great stories on their web site. Maybe someone could send it if he's willing to try? Much love, from this old rennie, Donna Murray, Dusty Rose Perfumery
John, This is no time for Voodoo medicine. Please reach out to the best and latest technology. I know you are tough and can find that inner spirit to fight on. You know me, we would all like some quick and obscure treatment but the liver is the most regenerative organ in the body. We are with you. Love you very much, Gordon and Manya Pettersen
There are other options that are not medically based. Look into alternative or holistic choices. I have heard and seen miracles happen. Photon Genius, Photon Genie are amazing devices to explore. CBD oil is profound. Keep optimistic and keep searching and having faith.
I have so enjoyed your show at the MRF. I usually see it twice on the day I go. I hope you are able to get a liver transplant since the cancer has not spread. http://www.healthline.com/health/liver-transplant-survival#overview1. I understand you need financial help, not advice but I want you to be a survivor. Maybe just a little 'water from India'. Hugs.
You don't know me Johnny but every year I come to the festival your show was the only one I HAD to see. Yours is the show that helps me introduce new people to the fair and revel in it's awesomeness. I wish I had enough courage to talk to you one day. Hopefully that day will still come. All of my wishes. Tiffany Callion
I'm very sorry to hear this. My father passed from liver cancer in 2012, but was able to buy almost a year with nanoknife/glass bead treatment at University of Washington. Perhaps they would have a referral to someone closer? http://www.uwmedicine.org/locations/liver-tumor-uwmc
Dear Johnny: I don't know if you remember me, my name is Lisa DeHaven and performed with Shakepeare's Skum for 9 season at MRF. I must have watched your show hundreds of times over the years. As a matter of fact, I worked in the office for several seasons and I remember you coming into the office many times. On one particular occasion, you came in to pick up a package that had been delivered for you that day. You opened the box in front of us, all excited because it was a new sword that you had been waiting for. We all gasped as you pulled out this very scary looking piece of weaponry. With a glint in your eye you looked at us and asked, should I? Well, duh! So you gave the sword the "lick" and then stuck it down your gullet without missing a beat! I was both awe struck and horrified to see this done up-close and in-front me! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I admired you, enjoyed you and how honored I was to share a venue with you. I always felt that the greatest thing about our show was that we were all family. Whether or not we knew each other personally, we performers and vendors shared something that few others outside our little village could. All that said, I was so sorry to hear about your illness. And the thought that you would never be able to do what you loved and did so well, just broke my heart. I wanted you to know how much I wished that I were in the financial position to be able to donate to your cause. But, I myself went through my own life-threatening battle between 2013 and 2015, and being on disability doesn't leave much left at the end of the month. But, although I can't contribute financially, perhaps just contributing my words of support and encourage may help in some small way. May the God and Goddess bless you and your family as you go through this battle. Just know that you have many, many people who have watched you and loved you over the years. You have given so much to all of us, it's now our turn to give back to you. With warm wishes and much love, Lisa DeHaven Maryland Renaissance Festival's Shakespear's Skum (1988-1996)
I'm no expert, but given that you can transplant half a liver (and it will grow to full size in the donor and recipient) , why not find a donor, chop the cancer liver out and replace it with a transplant liver? 100k could probably do that. If it hasn't metastatized at all that could do it. Certainly would do it better than naturopath type stuff.
Here is another way to help and have a great time too! https://www.facebook.com/events/1670907489605379/
Johnny and friends, Have you looked at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (there's at least one office in Tulsa, OK)? They report good recovery rates!
I don't know this man but if modern medicine has failed him go to holistic. Doctors have failed me repeatedly and every time herbal/holistic/diet based medicine has healed me. Check out the Gerson Treatment. It has worked for someone I know personally that also had cancer. There are two documentaries on it A Beautiful Truth and the Gerson Miracle that has testimonials. Additionally, look at the MD Institute for Integrated Health ( formerly Tai Sophia). Wishing you the best.
has he tried rennie rescue for any assistance? they maybe able to help him out abit. everybit counts. we wish him all the luck and help in the world
