Firstly, I just want to say thank you so much for caring enough to be here. It means a lot to our family. ❤
It breaks my heart to have to create this and explain what we're all dealing with right now .
Who she is:
Traci is as amazing person, with a huge heart. The strongest woman I've ever known. She's the backbone to our family and I love her more than words can express ❤
Unfortunately Traci has cirrhosis of the liver and is now fighting for her life.
She has what the doctors are saying is " In stage liver disease ", they keep using the word "terminal". To say we are all heart broken right now would be an understatement. In December 2018 we first learned she was getting sick. We didn't realize how serious it was, we certainly had no idea that two weeks ago reality would hit us like a train after she was rushed to the emergency room, unconscious. We received the harsh and heart breaking reality of her situation at that time.
Fast forward to this past Monday, she again was rushed to the emergency room, again unconscious. Other than to say the first 3 days in the hospital she was alive solely due to machines and medication, I'll spare all of the emotional and in-depth details of what she's gone through since then.
We are very hopeful and praying we can get her better and stronger so that we can try to get her a transplant to keep her here for years!!! ❤ She is so strong and such a fighter, we need her here, she's so good for this world.
She had to quit working several months ago due to being sick. Her husband Bobby has been working as hard and as much as he can. The hospital bills are piling sky high and he's been out of work to be by her side praying and hoping she could somehow hear him begging her to stay with us.
I am creating this in hopes that we can help keep her husband by her side, without the added stress of a ton of bills that there's no way we can all cover. The financial situation wasn't amazing prior to this last hospital stay, it certainly isn't now. We have no idea what will happen at this point or how long she will be hospitalized but I can tell you it's going to be a long and rough road ahead but honestly, we will take it! We will take it all as long as we have her here.
