A seasons worth of expenses
If you're reading this then you may already know who I am. However, you might not know the story behind the scenes.
Whilst I try to bring you coverage of the technical aspects of the sport we all love, I also hold down a 60 hour per week day job. I'd love to cover F1 (and other motorsports like WEC come to think of it) full-time but frankly it won't happen anytime soon. What I do is niche, I understand that, even though I appear to have a decent following now.
The crux of this page is that what I do comes out of my own pocket. Don't get me wrong, I have several freelance jobs that pay me a little but, on the whole I fund the content you see / read, whether that means trips to team events, pre-season testing or simply buying software or equipment etc.
I'd really be able to do more, I'd love to expand on what I already offer but without your help I can't fund it. So, (I feel like a NSPCA advert now) if you can give a little, it could make such a difference to the quality of what I'm able to produce. Hell, who knows if enough of you backed me I might even be able to go at it full time...
My last article received nearly 10,000 views in a couple of days and so even if only a small percentage of you gave a £1 it could make a massive difference to what I can do.
(The £500 target is just an indication as to what I spend each season on travel within the UK to attend functions and the upkeep of current software, equipment etc)
