Youth Amateur Radio Network is an amateur radio club dedicated to introducing and promoting amateur radio with the younger generations. Our goal is to share, demonstrate and educate amateur radio to kids all around the area.
In order to do so, we would like to purchase and outfit a retired school bus as a mobile ham shack. By having such a mobile setup, it would allow us to deploy to schools, clubs, gatherings, etc and show kids all about amateur radio.
The funds raised by this campaign will be used to purchase a bus, and equipment to outfit it. Any remaining fund will be set aside for future maintenance or upgrades. All money raised will be held soley for the purpose of the radio bus project.
Since we are a small group, made up of more kids than adults, we need to do a fundraiser in order to achieve this goal.
To reach our goal, it would take 500 people to donate just $10. Every penny counts!!
