Hey y'all! This is Miss Kat coming to you today because as you all know I am injured and out of work and due to that fact its giving me plenty of idle time to sit around and think.
This food truck idea that i have had for many years is a dream of mine and although i have had investors and people interested they have done nothing but sold me a dream just to be shattered and put me back at the drawing board.
Each time I'm out and at an event I'm asked "Hey Miss Kat where's the food?" It breaks my heart when i can't provide like i really want to.
With a food truck, I can be at ANY local music event that will have me, farmers markets, swap meets, you name it! That is dedication. That is determination. That is passion. That is MISS KAT!
Those of you that know me know my capabilities, know my drive, know that im a hustler, and know that I live for this! Cooking is not just a hobby for me... Cooking is my gift, my talent, my art... that I love having the pleasure to share with the world!
With the help of my people, I can not only be here to serve you, you will also be helping a young black woman start a thriving and promising black business. "The Ganster Link" is my trademark item that everyone asks me for even when i am empty handed and at a venue just to perform my original music, the type of person I am, I immediately want to go into "chef-mode" right there on the spot, but i can't because I don't have a facility to provide that great deliciousness to touches your taste buds only the way i can. A food truck solves that problem!
The specific logistics involved in starting a food business including obtaining a business license, a food handlers permit, the usage of a commercial kitchen, creating a fictitious business name, running a created business in a periodical for 4 weeks, and many other behind the scenes situations that will take hard work dedication and diligence to acquire. I'm more than willing to go through those motions for my people!
So today, I ask you, MY PEOPLE, to empathize with my situation and find it in your heart to donate to my cause whether it be $5 or $100, to assist me in bringing a food truck or food trailer into fruition (I tried to lower the minimum donation to $1 but GoFundMe wouldn't let me). If i had to create a deadline i would say before summer when everyone will be out and about.
