I desperately need a car.

My car broke down in October, and I was told by a mechanic that it was my water pump. A guy I knew said he could fix it for me, and kept it for a week and then told me it was not the water pump but the head gaskets. I had already spent most of my money using lyft and Uber to get to work, and I was almost broke. I had to then junk my car and find someone who could drive me to work everyday. I can buy a car with a loan but I need a down payment in order to qualify. I’ve tried everything I could think of to get a car. I’ve worked a ton of overtime but something unexpected always comes up and I fall further behind. My mom just passed away and I spent my whole paycheck getting to her funeral and getting home, and I’m broke again after paying my driver to get me to work and home again.
 I’m desperate, I work a full time job and I pick up as much overtime as I can, but it just isn’t enough. I hate asking for help but I need it.  I’m just not sure what else to do.  I’m barely keeping my head above water and getting my bills paid, but I’m constantly behind. 
I would be forever grateful with whatever you can afford, I know times are tough for everyone.
