On Monday, June 10, 2019, Deputy Joseph Solano, a 13-year-veteran with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department,  was shot in the back of the head while waiting to order food at a Jack in the Box. Joe sadly succumbed to his wounds on Wednesday. While his family is in shock and mourning, it's important to think of what tomorrow will bring and how they will survive. 

Joe was a devoted family man. He took care of his elderly mother, Nardina (his father passed away just three months ago) and helped support his sister, Christina. Also mourning Joe's passing is his longtime girlfriend of 11 years, Julianna Loza. Julianna lost her partner, and Julianna’s daughter, Jessica, lost a father figure.

Nardina, Christina, Julianna, and Jessica need our support. This fundraiser is to help ease the transition for these four women into a life they never wanted or imagined. A life without Joe.
