"Doris Maloney/My mother was dealt a short stick from a very early on in life. At a young tender age she was on a terrible car accident and didn't make it out unscathed. This accident left my mother in a terrible condition and caused her to have many mental problems throughout the rest of her life.
Despite these challenges, she was always helping her family out. Every Christmas, she would make scarves, gloves, and occasionally hats for her young grandchildren. My mother would entertain the grandchildren with Christmas movies and songs while parents talked and mingled. However, she continued to suffer as she got older. Mental problems increase, as physical challenges also arose. My mother has been in and out of hospitals within the past years at an alarming rate. However, this last infection became too much for her weak and frail body to handle.

Everyone understands the high costs of funeral, both mentally and financially. Unfortunately my mother did not have any life insurance, which is something that came easily be overlooked in today's growing society. This results in her children undertaking the burden of peacefully laying our mother to rest.
