Cambodia Orphanage Computer Lab
Many of you have asked how you can help, so I thought I'd give you a chance :) We are traveling to a town in Cambodia called Battambang to install 20 computers for an orphanage that is supported by a local non-profit.
The non-profit is called Cambodia Impact and is lead by some of my good friends: John and Linda Grover, along with the board we are building new housing for the kids over the next few years. We decided to not use any of the donated funds for this computer lab project and trust God will provide the funding through my business, family and friends.
We are scheduled to travel July 29 - Aug 11 to help set up the lab and teach them how to use the software we are installing. We will have Mavis Becon typing, Microsoft Office, and Rosetta Stone English as a second language installed for them to learn.
We are also planning on filming videos to be used by the charity for fundraising for the new campus buildings.
Our costs are for gently used Dell Laptops, Wireless Router, Computer Tables, Software, and Shipping. If you are willing to travel, we would love to have you join us on the trip!
If you have any questions feel free to give me a call anytime.
