Jordan's Recovery

Donation protected
On Sunday, April 29th, Jordan and Lillian, her 1-year-old daughter, were in a tragic car accident. They were t-boned on the driver’s side, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Emergency responders had to cut both Jordan and Lillian from the vehicle using special equipment. They were flown out to separate hospitals as a trauma. Lillian was flown to Children’s Hospital and although is bruised and sore, has been medically cleared! Her guardian angel certainly was looking over her.

Jordan was flown to Washington Hospital Center, endured multiple traumatic injuries, and is currently in critical condition. The first few hours consisted of repairing an aorta tear and stabilizing her blood pressure and heart rate. Over 1,200 images have been obtained, demonstrating the thorough evaluation by the specialists at Washington Hospital Center as they evaluate her body millimeter by millimeter.  Jordan has stretched ligaments in her neck and an injured blood vessel, which with time, will heal on its own. She has a hole in her diaphragm, which is scheduled to be repaired on Wednesday, May 2nd. She has a tube in her left lung and is having a tube placed in her right lung on Wednesday, May 2nd. She has broken ribs and has multiple fractures in her pelvis in both the front and back. She is scheduled to have pelvic surgery on Thursday, May 3rd. She has a bruised kidney and they are beginning to feel a pulse in her leg. Doctors remain optimistic and are so proud of her improvement and stability.

Jordan has endured the most traumatic injuries, and although intubated, her vibrant personality has never left. She is awake, and can write but does not remember the accident. Jordan has a long road of recovery ahead of her. There has been an out-pour of positive thoughts and lots of prayers. Your thoughts, prayers and generous contributions allow Dustin, her husband to be with Jordan and Lillian as Jordan embarks on a long recovery. Please join us in lifting any financial concerns and burdens, and allow their focus to be on Jordan and her recovery.
