Papa's Eye Surgery

Hello, my name is Maiya and I have a beautiful 10 year old dog named Papa. Papa came into my life when I was at my lowest. After my Grammy passed away back in 2013, I went to an animal rescue center where I found my best friend. Papa is a rescue dog from Rocket Dog Rescue, he was abandoned by his previous owners and was left to die. After having Papa for about 3 years I started to notice his behavior started to change. He was starting to become clumsy, less interactive and really depressed. I took him to the veterinary where they told me Papa has severe cataracts in both eyes which explained his recent behavior. The veterinarian told me my options were either have him go through with cataract surgery to correct his vision or to just let the symptoms turn him blind. I love Papa with everything in me and I refuse to let him suffer and go blind. The veterinarian told me the coat to get his eyes corrected would be roughly around $4,000. I knew I couldn't afford the cost which made me feel helpless, which is why I turned to this. Anything will help me get closer to getting Papa his surgery. I appreciate everyone in advance, I just want Papa to live out the rest of his life happy.
