Hate crime on our doorstep, must move

Gay bashers destroyed my scooter and left this note: "Boom bye bye - die on your scooter baty boy"

I discovered my scooter was moved and on its side right in front of my door. I was shocked to find a threatening, homophobic note and clearly intentional vandalism. Two pride flags that had been on the scooter were burned and torn apart. The scooter was damaged and is barely in one piece. Duck tape is the only thing holding it together right now.

This is my only vehicle. Now I'm afraid to even go out my front door, much less ride it in the area. I am hoping to raise enough money to replace the scooter and move to a gay-friendly part of town before this happens again, or worse.

I googled 'Baty Boy' and discovered its lyrics from a song about shooting homosexuals. The song's title: "Boom Bye Bye."

The chorus of the song: "(Its like) Boom bye bye/Inna batty bwoy head /Rude bwoy no promote no nasty man/Dem haffi dead"

Please find it in your heart to help my boyfriend and I get out of this dangerous situation.
