Help Save Maverick

Maverick is an 8 year old calico who holds a valuable place in our family. Maverick was rushed to the nearest emergency vet on Monday , April 1st. Initially thinking she was hit by a car or attacked by a dog we waited anxiously until the veterinarian confirmed that she had been shot multiple times by a pellet gun. The most sever are 3 pellets, 2 in her neck and one that’s lodged in her nasal cavity pushing on her eye. When maverick was first evaluated the vet bill was estimated on a low end of 2,300 that could potentially be as high as 4,000. Maverick is now on her 4th day being in ICU and her bill has already reached 8,000+ with other surgeries/ medicine/ daily hospital fees that are adding onto the bill. We’re not the type of family to ask for money help but i'm opening this page to anybody who may want to donate to her cause. The goal is for 7,000 to help my parents out a little bit since they don’t know I’ve made this page. I’m Emily Pedraza, Maverick's mom and from the bottom of my heart, I deeply appreciate any amount of money that can be donated towards Maverick. We're hoping to raise at least half of the money before shes released in a day or two. Thank you all so much. Just recently changed the goal to raise from 7,000 to 4,000 since maverick is home now and her bill is slowly being paid off with an end balance of about 8,500.
