Hannah Graham Memorial Tournament

Please support the Second Annual Hannah Graham Memorial Softball Tournament, to be held September 23-24, 2017 in Alexandria, Virginia.
The tournament is being conducted in memory of longtime softball standout Hannah Graham of Alexandria, Virginia. The victim of a homicide three years ago in Charlottesville, VA, Hannah played for the Mount Vernon Magic travel softball program for nine years, for the Fort Hunt Youth Athletic Association for five years, and for West Potomac High School all four of her years there.
The tournament will be conducted by volunteers to minimize costs, with all proceeds going in full to two charities designated by Hannah’s parents, Sue and John Graham.
Funds will be received by the beneficiary of this campaign, the Hannah Graham Memorial Tournament Fund, which will disburse proceeds from the tournament to this year's two designated charities.
The first charity, Green Dot, etc. is an organization working to systematically reduce violence within any given community, including through bystander intervention. The second charity, Alice's Kids, is a non-profit organization that provides short term financial assistance (for food, clothing, or other necessities) to children with an immediate need.
Last year' s tournament raised over $28,000 which went to Habitat for Humanity and the Blue Ridge Mountain Group.
