Classroom for the SCC Observatory
Donation protected
Our Sunshine Coast Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada has just opened the first observatory available to the public on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Students of all ages and community groups and families will have access to the wonders of the universe. We want to add a classroom/control room under the frame of the roll off roof or beside the observatory. This will allow us to teach classes, and to let the public observe what the telescope's camera is viewing in comfort in cold weather. This money would allow us to get a reconditioned container to convert for this use. Check us out at www.coastastronomy.ca
