Send JustMoms to DC

A delegation of St. Louisans (and friends of CRC) will be traveling to Washington, D.C. on February 8-10th. Residents from ground zero, along with two students, who live and work near the Bridgeton and West Lake Landfills. This group is LITERALLY comprised of just regular moms (and kids) who have been fighting for their health and, in some cases, lives. Without them, we wouldn't even know that this issue exists. Republic Services (the multi-billion dollar company that maintains the landfill) is lobbying like crazy in MO as well as DC and is spouting some very disturbing and completely false information. Unfortunately, most of the people buying into this nonsense are various Senate and House members. Being literally JustMoms, they do not have the resources to hire a lobbyist, so they have to go on their own and use their personal stories. They have several people who are sick and have lost loved ones from exposure not just at West Lake, but in and around North County as well who are willing to speak to their senators about what this has done to their family. We have asked and are hopeful that theywill host a senate briefing in which they can do a brief presentation to committee members. 

 The money will be used for plane tickets and other forms of transportation while in DC. They would be eternally grateful if you could help get them to DC!
