Maquiladora Workers Support Fund

We are establishing this fund in order to provide financial assistance to the courageous maquiladora workers of Cd. Juarez who have taken a stand to demand higher wages, better working conditions and recognition of independent unions in the plants where they work. These workers have risked their livelihoods for the benefit of all maquiladora workers who work under similar conditions in Mexico. 
At this time the workers, many of whom are single parents are very concerned about paying thir children's school registration costs which are due in the month of February. 
Please consider supporting the workers in their struggle for dignity, fairness and a better future for their children.
