Help Tanisha Thomas And Family

12th October Tanisha underwent a serious spinal operation, which involved removing a tumour that was pressing on her spinal cord which was paralysing her from the waist down. Operation was successful but causing Tanisha having to accept that she had to learn to walk again. In the meantime the results of the tumour was that it was cancerous.

She will now undergo chemotherapy and extensive physiotherapy for the next 6 months and fighting to walk again. Amazingly, today (October 22nd) she stood on her own 2 feet and managed to take 2 steps with help...she's pushing day by day to fight this. The pain and determination that this girl has put into the sport of motocross is phenomenal.

Tanisha is in the Heath hospital Cardiff . With family from west Wales 2hrs drive away , we would like to make it as easy as possible for them to be with Tanisha on this long road to recovery . We hope to help with the little things for her family having to take time off work, the travel costs and over night stays . We would like these will not be a worry for them , so they can give the support Tanisha needs right now .
