Milena's College fund

My name is Milena Cvijanovic, I'm 19 years old and was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. Music has been a part of my life ever since I was child. I started taking my first piano lesson when I was 5 years old. Soon after that I got admitted to "Josip Marinkovic" music school, where I graduated with a diploma for classical piano. Though singing wasn't a part of my curriculum it was always present in my lessons. During my elementary and high school years I was a member of the choir and a soloist for various singing competitions. Through out the years singing became something more than a hobby. After receiving the "Vuk Karadzic" diploma of excellence
 for my academic studies I was certain that I wanted to dedicate my further education towards music. "Sadly" for my parents, both artist by vocation, I decided to continue the traditions that's been running through my family for generations. 

While choosing a college I had no hesitations that Berklee College of Music was the right choice for me. 

After auditioning in Valencia (Spain), in March 2015 I found out I was accepted and rewarded a 10.000$ scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music the following September.

According to its reputations based on decades of establishing a unique curriculum created by some of the best known music teachers and also by their successful students, Berklee set the tuition fee at 38.940$US.

My family managed to provide a part of funds needed to finance traveling expenses, accommodation and the cost of living, health insurance, laptop, books and the tuition fee for my first semester of studies. Unfortunately the remaining amount I need to finish my first year of studies and my second semester is 8.000$.

It's always been a dream of mine to attend this school, so I would kindly like to ask you to help me raise the funds needed to pay for my tuition fee at Berklee College of Music and make my greatest dream come true.
