Help bring Jeffery Home for burial
There are many questions surrounding Jeffery's death. None of which can be answered immediately.
Our goal is to raise funds to get Jeffery home to Arkansas so he may be buried next to our mother.
We always knew Jeffery was a gentle soul. He was kind and gracious even when the world around him was not. The circumstances regarding his death has come as a shock to our family. We loved Jeffery with all our hearts. The fact that he was yet another young, black man to die in police custody is heartbreaking.
Please know we do not ask for help lightly. We, his family, are doing everything we can to get Jeffery home so he may be laid to rest.
We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
Please help bring Jeffery home.

Please donate if you can. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this story.
Respectfully his name was Jeffery. It's a small thing, but if press could correct this misinformation it would be appreciated. We have raised enough money to get him home and laid to rest.
Personally I (April) have no interest in giving interviews. Privacy has always been a very important thing to me and will be something I continue to work to maintain.
A few things are important to me at this time because I feel they were important to Jeffery.
1) Please seek to continue Jeffery's work to fight for $15.00. Please continue this vital fight. A living wage could have changed Jeffery's fate. A living wage can help so many. It is necessary to close the wage gap that leaves so many in poverty. Please VOTE for those who support the fight for $15.00.
2) Please also work to decriminalize marijuana use across all fifty states. There was no reason for Jeffery to have died in jail for marijuana. There is no reason for the thousands who have had their lives ruined or changed by the system's criminalizing this natural substance.
3) Reach out to family and friends when you need help. Give people the opportunity to give you a hand up. Life is hard, seek help in any avenue you have available. Give to others when you can. It can make all the difference.
And finally when possible please seek peace, seek love, seek hope. We thank everyone for their donations, prayers, thoughts, and desire to help.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
The second report completed in Arkansas states there are clear indications that Jeffery was harmed prior to his death and likely that harmed caused his death.
Jeffery, unfortunately, never let his family know about his money problems. We were unaware. He simply let us know he was fine and living in New Hampshire. He worked at Burger King. But the truth was that he was homeless and had to struggle. It's heartbreaking to know he kept this from us. Because the system felt he was homeless it is not shocking that the medical examiner and New Hampshire police felt no one would speak up for him. They were wrong. We will work tirelessly to get justice for our kind and loving Jeffery.
Thank you to all who donated. You are not only helping to cover funeral expenses for our brother but also to help us find justice for yet another young, black men who was likely killed by the police.
My grandson was murdered when he was three years old, the medical examiner lied then too, not about the cause just the time, so did the nashua police, the system here is crooked because of their lies no one has ever been convicted of murdering my baby, good luck and i hope you put a lawsuit against everyone involved
April, Melody, and family. I am so sorry for the lose of your brother. He was so sweet and kind hearted. I can't imagine why anyone would hurt him. I sure hope you all get the closure that you all so greatly deserve and need. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
