Riverside Veterans Memorial

In 1942 a WWII Memorial was erected in the Riverside community at River Rd and Hillside. It had the names of 262 WWII Veterans listed on the Memorial.
In the late 40's early 50's it was taken down to change River Rd to 4 lanes. No one knows what happened to the original Memorial.
The Riverside Veterans Memorial Assn was formed 6/6/2012, Our mission is to raise funds to have this Memorial rebuilt to honor these Veterans and to add additional names of Veterans who lived in the Riverside community
