A week ago I took responsibility for a sweet girl that was mauled by 2 Great Pyrenees. She wasn’t my dog at the time. Took her to the vet, they sutured her up very crudely  gave me antibiotics and some pain killers.
Later that night she was crashing. Her vitals were dropping, temperature dropped, she was going into shock.
I drove 40 miles with her to the Emergency Veterinary. I have stood vigil ever since, paying as she kept trying to improve.  A week later, I had to have her hind leg amputated. She is still in a very guarded situation.  The owners finally surfaced and said they couldn’t afford her. They have a very large family. I found out they didn’t fix the area where she was getting out, or knew exactly where it was. They have since relinquished her to me. I just felt she needed a chance. What I didn’t realize at the time, don’t know if it would have made a difference, was just how much her bill would be. I’m still hanging in there with her. I can’t throw her away. All too often if things don’t work for what ever reason, or if it becomes inconvenient, we simply get rid of the issue. Yes, I brought this on myself and will take responsibility for it, but if you love and respect our pets, please donate. Any amount will be deeply appreciated.
Muhat Magandy once said,  We can judge a nation by how we treat our animals. Something like that.
Sandy’s bill is at $25,000.00, with the possibility of getting to $30,000.00. Please help.
Thank you.

A very special person just donated $15,000.00. God Bless you and all who respect our pets. Her bills are still adding up but every donation helps. Thanks so very much
I was given her new bill which is over $50,000.00. They are trying to work with me on this. She actually ate a little this morning and her fever came down a bit. I and Sandy thank everyone for your prayers. I can say that the hospital has been working nonstop with Sandy. They have been great. As I sit and wait to see Sandy, every type of emergency comes in. It’s as if I’m in the ER at a human hospital.
