On July 13, 2015, my brother-in-law under went surgery to remove a large tumor from his chest cavity. Several days later he was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma. He started chemotherapy in august, his dose was doubled this past week. Sam will continue chemo treatments for several more months.
Sam is a native of Page County, VA. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years touring all over the world including deployment to Iraq before retiring. And has been working for a private security firm prior to his illness.
He is married to Lisa Presgraves Liscomb and they have 5 beautiful children, Bel 15, Chauncey 15, Lily 15, Olivia 13 and Ryder 10. He is a wonderful husband and an outstanding role model for his children.
