Help repair the National Armed Services & Law Enforcement Memorial Museum (NASLEMM) in Dunedin, Florida. The museum has hosted thousands of visitors to fulfill its mission to honor those who serve or have served in the U.S. armed forces and as federal, state and local law enforcement and all first responders and to educate the public about the cost of freedom and the rule of law.
The museum's 75-year-old, 14,000-square foot facility, purchased in 1998, is now in need of repairs that our daily entrance fees (adults $5, students $3) and regular donations are not able to cover. Please help To Honor Those Who Serve by making a tax-deductible donation to this not-for-profit 501c3 police and military museum. Your donation will be used to seal the leaking roof, tent the building for termites and replace the out-dated air conditioning system. Without these repairs, the artifacts are subject to deterioration from moisture and humidity. Our security system is also in need of updating.
About the Museum

Hundreds of arms and artifacts are on display, from the flintlocks of the Revolutionary War to present day weaponry and technology. Almost all of the small arms, or tools of freedom, used by the United States military are represented in the museum. Also included are displays from the major law enforcement agencies and departments throughout the United States and tributes to firefighters and paramedics.
Bill Douglas, retired Army Reserve 1972, whose family settled in Dunedin in the 1870s, has been the volunteer executive director/curator of NASLEMM's educational memorial museum since the facility opened in 2002. With a board of directors and a small staff of dedicated volunteers, the museum's collection tells the story of the heroes who built and protected our great nation. And it honors those serving in law enforcement, especially during these turbulent times when officers are being randomly targeted for attack throughout the country.
This is a cause that matters. You will feel good about your donation, and your donation will be appreciated by many visitors today, tomorrow, and for many years to come.
Donations exceeding our current goal of $150,000 will be used to acquire additional artifacts and to hire a permanent staff position, allowing Bill, who is in his 70s and dealing with Parkinson's disease, to slow down and enjoy some time off.

Donations of $1000 or more will be recognized by engraving the name of your choice on our Wall of Honor in the museum entrance. Annual sustaining membership to the museum is $20 per person and $35 per family. You may also visit our website at http://www.naslemm.org/
