Camie Kittle is trying to raise money for her son, Hunter Kittle. Here are the details: Sunday night Hunter was driving on Mt. Baldy Rd. when he hydroplaned sending his Toyota 4 runner tumbling down a 75 ft. cliff, where he stayed helpless for 2 1/2 days with a compound fracture in his right leg, a broken left arm, multiple broken ribs which punctured a lung, in addition to these injuries he has multiple skull fractures which caused air and a bleed on his brain. They will be doing surgery on his leg sometime tomorrow. Thank god Hunter is a fighter and will overcome his injuries but it is going to be a long hard road. Our family truly appreciates any support you can spare whether it is financially or in prayer.

Hello, sorry it's been so long since I updated. Hunter has been home for 2 1/2 weeks. He is doing very well. Although he did fall once. He's had several Dr appointments with all the time different teams, and his leg flap is healing well. He can't bear weight on his right leg or left arm for approximately 2 more months. Once he can bear weight he can begin physical therapy.
We are settling into a routine with his daily care and medications. Thank goodness for family, we are blessed to have each other helping out.
We purchased a stair chair for Hunter to be carried up and down the stairs, it seems to be working out great! Just need muscles to carry him. Several people have been coming to help with that as well.
Please continue to pray for Hunter and his recovery. He can no longer move his toes and has no sensation on the right foot.
Thank you for your prayers, support, and positive thoughts.

Update from hunters mom, Camie: It's been a while since my last update. Hunters surgery was over a week ago and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome. He was only in ICU for 2 days. He now has a palpable pedal pulse! Wednesday he started to dangle his leg for 5 minutes twice a day and has increased the amount of time by 5 minutes each passing day. He continues to be in a great amount of pain. The plastic surgeon said it will take approximately 1 year for recovery. Right now he pretty much has only 1 functioning limb, his right arm(his wrist hurts and has nerve damage on that hand) His left arm was repaired almost 2 weeks ago with a plate and screws. His left arm will be non weight bearing for about 3 months. The left foot also is quite painful from the frostbite, he still has not regained full sensation.
His hearing in the right ear has not improved.
His paralysis on his face has improved
Hunter is looking forward to coming home. Although coming home will bring challenging obstacles. For instance, he will be coming to live with me and I live on the second floor. We will be needing to move as soon as we can. Financially that's not possible at the moment but I'm going to figure out how to make it all work.
Please continue to pray for Hunter. Like I've mentioned before, he is at the beginning of his recovery.
Thank you for your prayers, positive thoughts and support.

Hunters surgery for his right leg was last Friday. They took muscle tissue and one artery from his right thigh to cover where they had taken his dead tissue etc . from his leg to cover it ,also put a stainless steel rod from his knee down to fix the break. He was in ICU for 2 days as they had to monitor his leg every hour. Of course he was in great pain. He is out of ICU and starting physical therapy on his leg. This part of his recovery is going to be long and painful. I want to thank my family and friends and everyone else who has donated and have been praying for Hunter and his family. We greatly appreciate it.

Happy Monday
Hunter is having surgery very early tomorrow morning on his left arm. The leg team said they want to do surgery tomorrow as well. Hunter still has an external fixator on his right leg. They are hoping to remove that during his next surgery. The doctors are still trying to save his leg. Unfortunately it's still day by day, surgery to surgery to see what happens.
Hunters left leg/foot is still numb, tingling and very painful. The frostbite process is slow and he may lose some of his toes. Hoping he will be able to regain feeling/sensation eventually. Again with that it's a waiting game.
There has been no change in his left facial paralysis and he still can't hear out of his right ear.
The pain at times is unbearable, but he keeps pushing through. I know all the prayers are helping.
We can't thank you enough ❤️

Thank you for sharing and keeping us posted. My prayers will continue for the complete healing of his body, mind and soul. This is a miraculous story and I pray that all involved will be blessed with the gift of God's grace and comfort through this event. And that the good He promises, through all things, will come to those who love Him. I, too, have a 25 year old son (as well as 22 and 19 year old sons) and can only imagine what you all have been going through. ♥

I wish we could offer financial support, but all we currently have are thoughts and prayers. Keep that fantastic attitude, it is what will keep you well. Your life will never be the same, ironically, you will come out of this stronger and more resolute than you ever imagined you even had it in you to be. XOXOXOXO
