As a very determined young lady, she decided to see if anyone wanted to buy her cookies and made her own job opportunity. Little did she know her talent and passion for baking could become a business and her determination would be admired by all across the world. At the end of 2016, she took her specialty, the Amazing Cookie, to a local market, convinced them to stock it on their shelves, and officially launched her own business: Collettey’s Cookies.
Collette has become an inspiration to all individuals with and without disabilities as well as families and advocates. She not only wants to change the world's views to see abilities not disabilities, but Collette also wants to lower the unemployment rate for those with disabilities too. Currently, 80% of people with disabilities are unemployed, but not for long if Collette has anything to do about that!
Collette has aligned herself with one of the largest market chains in North America. She is starting with the local stores in MA and New England, Star Market & Shaws. 19 Stores to start, that will have a Collettey's display! Collette's is also working on partnerships with organizations in other states since she has the markets available across the country. She needs immediate resources to scale her company up to meet this demand. And in the interim, she is interviewing people with disabilities for employment!
New donations will go toward extra freezer space, distribution materials, and a new mixer that will be dedicated to Collette’s newest creation: a special breakfast cookie. She also hopes to get the word out more through local events and sponsorships—none of which comes cheap.
Collete’s dream is to take Collettey’s Cookies nationwide and employ thousands of more people. It may sound hard, but Collette is up for the challenge. She’s a tough cookie!

For all the years struggling and trying to be accepted, you all have made her feel she is valuable and accepted.
I just got my order and the cookies really live up to their name. They are Amazing! I can only eat one a day but I'm sitting here with the bag next to my nose...they are soft and really delicious. They are in all seriousness the best mail-order cookies I have ever had, possibly the best cookie I ever had. Colette has a beautiful story, but she also has an incredibly good product. Someday when she has a multi-million dollar company, we'll all say we heard it on Facebook first!
I’m trying to figure out what stores these are sold in...

Wow amazing young lady.. keep it going don’t stop. I just order sum cookie and I will pass the word to my co workers... Good Luck!!!
I sure would like to try her tasty looking cookies!
Your cookies look fabulous. Unfortunately I live a little too far away to use your service - Scotland! My daughter lives in Michigan and the postage to Scotland would cost way more than the cookies. I do, however, wish you all the luck in the world with your business
I donated when I saw Collette on TV several weeks ago. Is there any way to order her cookies through the mail? They look absolutely delicious, and I would LOVE to buy some!!!
I tried to donate but the website says there's an issue with your account. P.S. I'm inspired by your work.
