As an entertainer it is my privilege to have won the first ever title of Northern Lights National Showgirl at Large and get to go compete for the title of National Showgirl at Large this June in Springfield Missouri. Unfortunately, I can not do it alone. I am hoping that if you have ever been to one of my shows or wish to support dreams coming true, you will be kind enough to not only take the time to read this but also donate whatever you possibly can to help me represent for all of the plus size Queens in Canada and follow my dreams. Being the only Canadian competing as a Canadian representative (having won in Canada) I wish and hope to bring the crown back home!
I come from a small town and travel an hour and a half every show just to perform because I truly love what I do and the art of drag. I am hoping to show the LGBTQ community that a small town boy with a passion, desire and dream can achieve a national level dream. Just by you clicking on this I am truly thankful as I know time is precious so thank you for taking some of your time on me.
By donating, you will be helping me with the cost of creating my package to compete but also you will be standing behind a small town artist going to the United States to compete for an international title. If I win one of the most beautiful parts of the National Showgirl system is it gives me a voice in the community. We must have platforms we support and mine is anti bullying. Too many of our youth kill themselves due to bullying. Too many are depressed due to bullying and do not realize there are so many like minded people with similar interests just like them in the world. Many of you reading this and myself relate to the truly awful feeling of being bullied. Thankfully, we were able to come out stronger after. Not every person is able to do so. With your support I will get to share with our community that is ok to be different. It is ok to go against what society is telling you to be and that dreams do not just come true for people in large cities. I am hoping to bring inspiration and hope to people not just in small towns or Canada but everywhere. If you are able to contribute I would be eternally grateful. I have had this dream for many years and with your help you can make this dream a reality.
