At Weaver, Reckner, and Reinhart Dental our faith-filled principles guide our involvement with patients, staff, and the community.
This year we are looking forward to spreading our involvement to the communities of Nicaragua.
In February 2017 two of our doctors and other members of our staff are volunteering with the Hearts, Hands and Smiles Foundation, in conjunction with the Help Them Help Themselves Foundation, to treat the people in the communities of Masachapa and Villa El Carmen in Nicaragua. We will be providing necessary dental care to those in need and will also be working with the dental clinics there to help educate their staff on preventative and restorative dentistry, as well as educating the communities on the importance of dental hygiene and are hoping to leave the people of Nicaragua with the tools and knowledge needed to help keep the members of their communities healthy and out of pain.
This will be our first trip, of hopefully many to Nicaragua, and our goal is to gather enough supplies to allow us to treat 500+ patients, and to be able to provide equipment, instruments and supplies for the affiliated clinics in Nicaragua, enabling them to continue treating the community, and for us to continue our ongoing mission.
