Holly's Medical Fund

Maui folks, we have a mutual friend who's in great need right now.
Holly Lynn Tolosko is known to many of us as a Realtor, a Rotarian, a notary public, a business manager, a golfer, and a humanitarian - but mostly, she's a friend. Her 33 years on Maui have involved huge contributions to our community and to the world, from helping people in all walks of life to delivering polio vaccine to the children of Ghana.
Holly has a chronic condition known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystropy (RSD) or Complex Regional Pain Syndrom (CRPS). She has suffered the pain and mobility issues for 26 years while continuing to work three, sometimes four jobs including bartending at the Grand Wailea, traveling island-wide to handle notary signings, bookkeeping for many businesses, and keeping up her real estate contacts. Throughout it all she has kept a positive attitude and worked harder than ever to maintain her independence.
Things have changed. The pain of muscle spasms and joint fatigue have become so daunting that she has had to go on a medical leave of absense from the Grand Wailea for going on two years. She's unable to drive safely. The agony of back pain has caused insomnia. She sufferes from continuous muscle spasms, bruising, swelling, and is now experiencing falls and memory issues.
The health providers on Maui are unable to offer her additional treatment or even recommend treatment. She has been referred to the services of the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, her final hope for a future of managed pain.
She needs our help, The cost of travel, accommodations, and medical services at the Mayo Clinic are far beyond what she is capable of paying now that her jobs have dwindled and income has stopped. She has budgeted $35,000 to pay for the initial visit to the clinic and prays that her friends will help her find the money.
